In order to assist schools in meeting the goal of participating in 30 minutes of physical activity five days a week, Healthy Schools in motion will send schools upon registering:
- A Resource Manual to get schools started
- An Activity Bin full of equipment
- The Weight of the World DVD
- The in motion Snacktivities (k-8)
- An Energy Blast DVD (k-6)
- The NEW Getting "in motion" at School resource

Snacktivities
The in motion Snacktivities is a resource that has many easy-do-to activity breaks for classroom teachers. The focus of this resource is on small space activities that require very little or no equipment. They can be done spontaneously and in short time intervals during the school day right in the classroom. Download the resources:

Energy Blasts DVD
The Energy Blasts DVD is a physical activity DVD that is geared towards use in the classroom - to provide classroom teachers with another resource to energize students with a short in-class workout during the school day. For more information please download this resource:

I Love to Run jump, play, skate, dance...
I Love to Run month is now becoming an annual tradition for Manitoba in motion. I Love to Run month is designed to help teachers and families promote moderate and vigorous physical activity. The goal is to have grades five and six students create their own physical activity challenge by logging their moderate and vigorous activities for one month.
Upon completion, when students meet their goals, they will receive a certificate of participation signed by the Ministers of Healthy Living, Youth and Seniors, and Education, acknowledging their success.
